These days Jeannene Tedesco is known as a successful breeder who specializes in large dog breeds like the German shepherd dog. Over the years, Jeannene has developed a reputation for the quality of her dogs. Generations of families swear that she is the only breeder that they trust when it is time to find the newest member of their family. Jeannene spends her days on a ranch in Wyoming where her dogs and children have room to run free.

Humble Beginnings

Jeannene Tedesco has spent the last two decades building her business as well as her reputation. Before she chose the path that lead him to a future of dog breeding, Jeannene wasn't sure what she wanted to do with his life. Unfortunately indecision does not pay the bills. While Jeannene debated on her future career, she answered an ad in the local newspaper asking for someone to work in the kennels at a veterinary clinic. This lasted for two years, from 1983-1985. During this time Jeannene discovered a love for dogs that she never knew he had. As a girl she grew up in apartments or rental houses that did not allow dogs. While working in the kennels Jeannene established friendships with the dogs' owners and discovered that many of them were breeders and that they really enjoyed their work. After seeing this Jeannene knew what she wanted to do for the rest of her life.

Doing What You Love

After deciding what she intended to do for the rest of her life Jeannene had to find out how to get started. He researched and talked to other dog breeders who helped him find the right puppy, from a good line, to get him started. Over the years, after that first puppy Jeannene has learned the industry inside and out, and has earned the recognition of having a quality line. She has produced show dogs, and police dogs from the litters that she has managed.

Jeannene understands the importance of finding top notch dogs to produce the best puppies, and those who have worked with her are impressed with her dedication to her dogs. They are the back bone of her business, as well as part of her family.

Jeannene married a fellow dog breeder who stole her heart at a dog show, and now spends most of her time at home playing with her children and the puppies.
